Lamella #1 opens the series that carries its name: a study in horizontal strata, borrowed from the way glacial ice records time in compressed, undulating layers. Rippled cream fins stack around the body, each one shifted slightly against the last, so the silhouette reads as a single geological gesture rather than an assembly of parts.
Unlit, the pendant stays quiet — matte, sculptural, defined by the shadow lines between its fins. Switched on, the logic reverses: light settles into the gaps and washes each lamella from below, so the room receives the ripple, never the bare bulb.
Each piece is designed and 3D-printed layer by layer, to order, in our studio, using EcoLux — our bio-based polymer with a matte surface that turns gently translucent under light.
