This is where the series began. In differential geometry, the Schwarz surface extends for ever — a lattice that curves everywhere, wastes nothing and never touches itself. Schwarz Minimal Surface #1 takes a block of that infinity and stands it upright: mathematics you can set on a sideboard.
Unlit, it is a white monolith of open cells — glossy as porcelain, precise as a crystal. Switched on, the lattice reverses: light threads through every passage, the walls turn softly luminous, and the surface lays its own pattern across the table in warm shadow.
The first luminous work in our Schwarz series, and the piece two years of research and development were spent learning to print. It shows the surface in its open, endless form; Uovo, the second piece, closes the same mathematics into an egg.
Each lamp is made to order in our studio, 3D-printed piece by piece in UV-curable EcoLux, our bio-based resin, finished to the optical clarity the geometry deserves.
Your lamp arrives with its certificate of authenticity and is protected by the International Lifetime Warranty.
